Donald Glover Pushes Migos' 'Bad & Boujee' To Even Greater Heights

The Migos featuring Lil Uzi Vert's track 'Bad & Boujee' is plenty catchy.

It's also been plenty lucky. The song became Migos first Billboard 100 number 1 this week in large part because Offset’s “Rain drop, drop top” hook is fun to riff off of, and became a popular meme.

And that was before Donald Gover called it "the best song ever" and referred to the Migos as "The Beatles of this generation" during and after the Golden Globes last night.

After Glover's over-the-top shout out, Spotify spins of the track jumped 243 percent, and its YouTube views also exploded.

This probably assures 'Bad and Boujee' a second week at number 1 next week.

The question becomes will this all translate to big sales for Migos's sophomore album Culture, which drops January 27th.

Their debut album, 2015's Yung Rich Nation only did 15K first week. So expect Culture to at least top that.
