Dr. Dre & Ice Cube Are Also Getting Sued By The Family Of The Guy Suge Knight Killed

Terry Carter's family isn't just depending on the criminal courts to get justice.

Suge Knight is currently on trial for murdering Carter with his car after a dispute that started on the set of the movie Straight Outta Compton.

Now Carter's wife and kids are suing Knight for wrongful death. Also included in the suit are Straight Outta Compton producers Dr. Dre and Ice Cube because they allegedly hired gang members to provide security for the shoot. The gang members, the suit claims, then incited a fight with Knight -- which ultimately led to Carter's death.

Also, the family is suing Tam's Burgers, where the actual killing took place. They say that since there are regularly violent crimes in the burger joint's parking lot Tam's should have hired security. The suit is seeking unspecified damages.
