"Free Yayo" has been a meme since well before there were memes.
But Tony Yayo has never been able to monetize those words.
Until recently.
The G-Unit soldier told DJ Vlad that he signed a deal with Spencer's to sell "Free Yayo" t-shirts shortly after Drake was spotted wearing one.
Tony Yayo says after Drake wore his “Free Yayo” T-shirt, Spencer’s gave him a deal the very next day.

This is fame, not clout! Now tell me what them people got from twerking at The Flop Out ™ 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/zuPpZKMtGS
"How long have I been telling you to sell "Free Yayo" T-shirts," Vlad said. "Didn't I tell you I wanted to be partners with you?"
"But you not Drake," Yayo shot back. "Once Drake wore the shirt, I got the call the next day. Spencer's want to do a deal with you. So shout out to Drake. This is why I stay out of the beef. I ain't got nothing against Kendrick, I ain't got nothing against Drake."
And he didn't have to give Drake a cut.
