Drake didn't just promise a new album last night at the OVO Fest.
He also pulled his fellow Canadian The Weeknd up on stage to perform 'Starboy,' 'The Hills,' and 'Crew Love.'
When they were done, Drake said they have to do a joint project.
“First of all, I don’t want to do this to you on stage, but I feel like that OVOXO project has to happen at some point," Drake proposed. "I just want to say that.”

There had long been speculation there was a rift relationship between old collaborators Weeknd and Drake.
But Weeknd cleared that up last November in a Beats 1 interview.
“He came in as my big bro and showed the world what I could do,” The Weeknd said. “From then on, he’s always been supporting me and I’ve always been supporting him. Behind the scenes, we’re still very close but it’s cool that the world can see us doing our own thing. OVOXO will always be there.”[Related: The Weeknd speaks on his relationship with Drake.]
