Drake has added the R&B singer Plaza to his OVO label.
Drizzy's manager and OVO founder Oliver El-Khatib announced the signing on the latest episode of Apple Music's OVO Sound Radio and played Plaza's Shadow EP to introduce him to the audience.
OVO’s roster is now Plaza, Dvsn, Roy Woods, Majid Jordan, OB O’Brien and PartyNextDoor.
Plaza's sound has shades of The Weeknd. The Toronto-based artist is fairly unknown in the United States.
Plaza's signing is in keeping with OVO's trend of bringing on Canadian artists and pushing them to international audiences.
