Ebro Breaks Down How DJ Akademiks Gets Paid

DJ Akademiks has been sniping at Hot 97 duo Ebro and Rosenberg for a minute now.

Ebro fired back at Ak, claiming that he's just an internet minor leaguer who gets paid by the labels and who can't leave his basement because he's scared

"My problem with Akademiks is that the things that he promotes and monetizes. A, he's not from and a part of. He has a fetish, like many young people do and suburbanites do with gangsterism and gangs. The whole pill pop nonsense. And the fact that a lot of the artists he enjoys are just not good rappers," Ebro explained.

"You prisoner to your own lifestyle. You shock. I don't even dislike you like Rosenberg. I just want you to understand what you perpetuate is a dead end. You might have got some bread courtesy of the labels. I'm gonna tell Akademiks this. If you keep talking I'm going to pull one of them invoices from one of them record labels. You keep talking that you don't get money from record labels. It ain't nothing for me to call an accounting department and talk about those bulk record deals that you have. Those bulk promo deals where the pay you to promote music.

Ebro then went on to say that Ak isn't as big as they are because radio is still a bigger deal than the Internet.
