Elton John Travels The World Searching For Tech N9ne Albums

Elton John has never been afraid to embrace rap.

He did the 'Stan' thing with Eminem, and recently sung the praises of Young Thug.

But what the pop legend is really after is the sounds of DIY rapper Tech N9ne.

Sir Elton was in Vancouver yesterday, where he hit the local record shop. We'll let Beat Street Records manager Lindsay Tomchyshen explain what happened next.

“I came in from the back and there was Elton John standing there with his two bodyguards, digging through records,” Tomchyshen said. "He asked my boss if we had any Tech N9ne, like, the gangster rapper and I was not expecting that."

Something tells us Tech's going to send Elton one or all of his many albums when he reads this story.
