Eminem Is Selling Bricks From His Childhood Home

Eminem's cassette re-release of his 2000 classic Marshall Mathers LP will cost you $350.

That's a lot for severely dated technology, but you do also get some other products of questionable value: a dog tag chain, t-shirts and a brick from Eminem’s childhood home.

That would be the same childhood home featured on the album's cover, and on 2013's sequel projcet Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Eminem took to Instagram to explain that the home was demolished in late 2013 for safety issues, but he was able snag some of its structure before the wrecking ball came.

Outtakes from 19946 Dresden up on Eminem.com... On November 20th, 2013 the State of Michigan ordered the demolition of the childhood home of Marshall B. Mathers due to structural safety issues. We jest, but judging from the reaction to Shady's IG posts there is some serious interest in the Marshall Mathers LP re-release.

We guess it's the ultimate Stan test.

Update: All of the bricks have sold out. According to Eminem, some of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Marshall Mathers Foundation for its continued mission to help rebuild Detroit.
