Yesterday, it was widely reported that Eminem signed a deal with WWE in which he would contribute to the soundtrack WWE 2K20, and would appear on at least one episode of WWE Smackdown.
Not so fast, said Eminem's rep Dennis Dennehy:
"There was a very brief, exploratory conversation that involved a third party and 2K Sports, not Eminem’s team," he said. "It has not gone beyond preliminary discussions, and any reports to the contrary are false. Right now there are no plans to further pursue it."
However, Sean Ross Sapp, the managing editor of Fightful, isn't backing down from what his site and others reported.
Eminem's team can deny it all they want, wait until the fall :)

If Em's team pulls or pulled the deal I'll feel bad for those who put it together, but yep - a deal was agreed upon today for all the things I mentioned, regardless of who's rep is saying what.

It wouldn't be surprising if Em's team and the WWE want to keep their deal under wraps so it can be a surprise when Shady suddenly appears in the ring.
Or it could be just what Em's spokesman said.
