Siale Angilau, a 25-year-old member of the Tongan Crip gang, didn't like what a witness was saying about him during his trial for assault, conspiracy, robbery and weapons offenses in Salt Lake City

So he calmly got up and attacked the witness stand with a pen in hand.

A Federal Marshall quickly fired four shots, dramatically killing Angilau.

The incident happened in 2014, but government attorneys had fought to keep the video out of the press. It was finally released today after CBS affiliate KUTV and The Associated Press argued it was a public record in an important police use-of-force case.

The unnamed Marshall was cleared of any wrongdoing after a review board found the use of force was within agency policy.

Attorneys for Angilau's family filed a wrongful death lawsuit, but it was dismissed last week.

Do you think the Marshall should have shot Angilau?
