Femcee Kevhani Hicks Shoots & Kills Manager

We've never heard of Miami rapper Kevhani Hicks.

But she's successful enough to have a manager.

We know this because she killed her manager early Monday morning.

Witnesses say Hicks with driving in a white Lexus with her manager and another man.  The other man and Hicks got out of the car and began arguing.  The man hit Hicks, knocking her to the ground.  Then the manager got out and started beating Hicks.   When the beating stopped, and the manager retreated toward the car, Hicks produced a gun and shot the manager to death.

She says she feared for her life when she pulled the trigger.  The court has found probable cause, so now prosecutors will decide whether to charge her with second-degree murder or a lesser manslaughter charge.

"This is a case where if she had shot him when he was beating her, she probably could have been justified.  But the fact that he was retreating and the point that she started firing at him it becomes where she's committing the defense she's being charged with," said Police officer Michael Vega.
