Fivio Foreign Explains Why The 'King Of New York' Title Means Nothing To Him

Earlier this month, Fivio Foreign and Tekashi 6ix9ine had a brief back and forth about being the King of New York.

The title was started by The Notorious B.I.G. back in the day and has since been adopted by people like Jay-Z and Nas.

Some of the newer rappers from the five boroughs, like Dave East, said the title means nothing to them and Fivio feels the same.

“I feel like it don’t matter.. It totally don’t matter," he told Complex. "Some boy’s going to claim that sh*t, but it don’t matter ... That’s not the goal I’m trying to reach. You’re the King of New York? Well, I’m trying to be the King of the World.”

Would you say there's a King of New York these days? If so, then who?
