French Montana seems set on pissing everyone in the game off.
French has spent his quarantine expressing the belief that Drake and JAY-Z are the only rappers who are in his league, Kendrick Lamar be damned.
He also had Swae Lee calling "cap" when he claimed he "structured" their smash hit "Unforgettable."
Now French has brought Juicy J, DJ Paul, and Mike Will Made-it into his industry flexes. During an interview with Billboard, Montana was asked about the "Unforgettable" disagreement with Swae He explained that when he said he "structured" the song he meant that he made the track work by picking where he should stick his verse.
Then he went on to make a bigger claim which may interest Juicy and company about the Rae track "Powerglide."
“I stay up all night producing records," French claimed. "Guess what record I produce? 'Powerglide' ... What happened is DJ Paul come in, it was at Mally Mall's studio ... They come in, Swae Lee did a verse on it.. After I produced it, ask me if I had made one percent off that? I’m the one that came with the whole idea. I’m the one that came up with everything. Gave it to DJ Paul and Juicy J. They produced it ... You think I came after them to get anything? Now that [Swae] said that I'm going to come get my piece."
From what we can gather, Mally Mall, Juicy J, Make Will Made-It, and engineer Jean-Marie Horvat have production credits on "Powerglide".
Should they be worried about French collecting debts?
