G Herbo Explains Why He Prefers New York Rap Over Chicago Drill

G Herbo may be from Chicago but he likes New York rap more than Chicago Drill music, which he explained on the My Expert Opinion podcast.

"I represent Hip Hop. I’m a student of Hip Hop," he stated. “So, you started small when you talk about Drill. New York is Hip Hop. New York is what I fell in love with ... New York is the culture of Hip Hop. The foundation of Hip Hop, of rap music. That sh*t bigger than G Herbo. Drill is cool. That’s alright. Bet, G Herbo’s part of Drill. I’m a part of history, too though. I’m a part of Hip Hop ... I got my whole style and my swag from New York."

One of the last times that Herbo compared the two cities is when he said that New York rappers gave Chicago Drill its style.
