After watching Kendrick Lamar do 'Alright' at the 2015 BET Awards, Geraldo Rivera jumped on Fox News and used the performance's anti police imagery as an example of Hip Hop being worse for minorities than racism is.

Kendrick samples Geraldo's critical words on the first two tracks of his new album DAMN., and then calls out the veteran talk show host by name in the third track 'YAH.'

Fox News wanna use my name for percentage My latest muse is my niece, she worth livin' See me on the TV and scream: "That's Uncle Kendrick!" Yeah, that's the business Somebody tell Geraldo this nigga got some ambition
Geraldo responded to the name drop and suprise features on his podcast.

“I didn’t particularly care for the way he mentioned me," Rivera said, before reiterating the point he made in 2015. "I think too much of Hip Hop, too much of rap in the last couple of decades has really portrayed the cops as the enemy, as the occupying army in the ghetto, in the inner city, in the urban centers. It’s an us against them where this very popular, powerful art form, this poetry, is being used to really set young people, young minorities—black and Latinos, principally—against the officers who are sworn to protect them."
He did also say some nice things about Kendrick (with a funny Drake addition.):

"I think Kendrick Lamar is, as I said along with Drake, the most talented Hip Hop artist, rapper, whatever you want to call it," Geraldo said.
Check out Geraldo's words. He mentions Kendrick's 2016 Grammy performance, but his initial objection was to K.Dot's performance at the 2015 BET Awards.
