Gucci Mane Won’t Freestyle For Free

It’s a Hip Hop tradition for rappers to lace their radio appearances with some freestyling, emphasis on the free. Gucci Mane, during a recent appearance on Sway In The Morning, showed that he’s willing to buck tradition in order to stack up his bucks.

Gucci told Sway he wouldn’t freestyle gratis, but he’d drop 12 new bars for the low price of $50,000.

“I don’t even want to freestyle. I just want people to go buy my stuff. I know that’s the New York culture to freestyle. But for me, when I say something, it cost 99 [cents] for the single and 10.99 for the album," Gucci explained. "Y’all give me 50 grand, I swear I’ll do a 12 so fast it’ll make your head spin. [laughs] It’ll make your head spin how fast I get on there.”
