Gun Charges Against Jeezy Have Been Dismissed

Back in August, Jeezy and five others were pulled off of their tour bus after a show in Orange County and arrested for felony possession of an illegal weapon.

The cops were investigating a murder that had taken place backstage during a Jeezy/Wiz Khalifa show in Northern California earlier that week, and had found an AK-47 and a Glock on Jeezy's tour bus.

Gun charges are serious business, so Jeezy must have been relieved to learn today that the case has been dismissed. In turns out the guns had been legally purchased by Jeezy's security chief, who wasn't on the bus (and was never charged) because he got caught in the cross fire of the Suge Knight shooting at Chris Brown's record release party the night before.

DNA evidence also revealed that none of the six arrested had touched the guns, and forensic evidence proved the weapons weren't used during the backstage shooting.

"I pray this had nothing to do with race but it definitely had nothing to do with evidence," Jeezy told TMZ of the charges, after learning they were dropped. "I knew that the allegations and charges were based on zero facts. I'm relieved that the truth has prevailed."
