Four-time Grammy winner Bobby Ross Avila’s free EP Beats, Riots & Lives arrives on Tuesday, December 1st.

The second single, 'Heaven & Hell,' features Slaughterhouse member Kxng Crooked and addresses hot topics like police tension, gang violence and Donald Trump.

The track samples a quote from the presidential candidate commenting about immigration. In the excerpt, Trump says, “When Mexico sends its people they’re not sending its best.” Avila used the audio because he wanted to respond from a Latino perspective.

"There’s power in voice as Mr. Trump displayed with his comment,” Avila says. "We need to stop the divide as humans and since that day that Donald Trump made that comment the world now has paid more attention to dumb politrix and to the Latin culture. I wanted to take a stand and use the power of music two voice my opinion and to let Latino’s know that they don’t have to be afraid to stand up and be a voice for good. I will not sit back and let someone stereotype us Latinos and call us aliens, immigrants or talk down to us as if we don’t belong."
