Tekashi 6ix9ine is now a semi-free man.  This afternoon, Judge Paul Engelmayer granted 6ix9ine a compassionate release, due to COVID-19

"We’re all so pleased with the judge’s decision. Danny will be safe now," said 6ix9ine's Dawn Florio

6ix9ine's legal team has been pushing for an early release for over a week, claiming Tekashi is suffering from shortness of breath and other possible symptoms of Coronavirus.

6ix9ine has asthma and was hospitalized last year with bronchitis and sinusitis.  Initially, both Engelmayer and the Feds opposed Tekashi release.  However, as the coronavirus threat worsened, they reconsidered.

There will be some conditions for Tekashi's release.  Until August 2, which was set to be his release date, 6ix9ine will be under home incarceration enforced by GPS monitoring. He can only leave his residence to speak to his lawyers or meet with his doctors.

In other words, 6ix9ine won't be in that different a boat than most of America is in right now.

From what has so far been revealed, there doesn't seem to be any restrictions on his Internet use.

So let the trolling begin.
