Kanye West Helped Kim Kardashian Accept Bruce Jenner

Last night in a much anticipated interview with Diane Sawyer, Bruce Jenner came out as a transwoman, stating that he has been taking female hormones since the 1980's. While the entire interview was loaded with a lot of very poignant commentary, one interesting highlight that Jenner shared was how Kanye West helped his stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian, become one of the most accepting and understanding family members about his transition.

According to Jenner, Yeezus gave Kim these wise words to consider:

I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am; I can have the most beautiful little daughter in the world, and I have that; but I'm nothing if I can't be me, if I can't be true to myself.

Bruce says that ever since Kim told him the story that she's been the "easiest to talk to about the transition".
