ILoveMakonnen is the latest rapper to have his Tim Westwood Freestyle go viral for all the wrong reasons.
Despite saying he was retiring earlier this year, Makkonnen is still doing his thing. And when he tried to do if off the dome with everybody's favorite goofy British rap enthusiast, it didn't go well.
Royce Da 5'9" was among those clowning on Makonnen's effort.
On Twitter, Makonnen seemed to concede that the freestyle wasn't that great. However, he argues that at least it was a real freestyle.
Freestyle was trash. Lol y'all kids have the most jokes. Maybe I should've practiced and asks them to send beats how the other rappers do — Magician Makonnen (@iLoveMakonnen5D) June 5, 2016
Still dodging calls from baby and jay z. All my bars are real. Y'all wouldn't know, u too busy wanting a chain on ur neck and bottles

When did it become wack to freestyle about your real life? Damn the game is lost bad, y'all don't even know talent anymore smh — Magician Makonnen (@iLoveMakonnen5D) June 6, 2016
Y'all would have rather me do like the rest of the rappers and write to beats the night before then go rap the verses and say it's freestyle

Does Makonnen deserve credit for keeping it real in the freestyle booth?
Or should he just go and retire already?
