Very few artists in the world can do a stadium tour.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA- two artists you can squint and see selling stadiums- begin their Grand National Tour in two and a half months.
Information from Houston, the second date on the tour, suggests the pair may be having trouble selling out stadiums even though they've boxed off a good chunk of the seats. (Some of the biggest artists play 360 when they do stadiums.)
A file was pulled. Kendrick’s tour isn’t looking good. @touringdata shows he sold out 67% of his Houston show… can’t sell tix even with Sza. Wouldn’t be surprised if shows end up getting cancelled. Super Bowl is his only hope to sell the rest @aubreysattorney pic.twitter.com/nnTq2idFkW

Kendrick does get to play the most high-profile 15 minutes in music in a few weeks at the Super Bowl. We assume he'll bring SZA out at some point. Perhaps that will help sell some of the seats that remain available.
