It Looks Like Ben Simmons Is Coming Back To Philly

The Ben Simmons saga has taken another turn.

The word from ESPN is the-point-guard-who-wouldn't-shoot is working on reporting to Philly, after claiming he would hold out until he got traded.

"Sixers officials and Klutch CEO Rich Paul have progressed in talks over recent days on a resolution to bring All-Star Ben Simmons back to Philadelphia in the near future, sources tell ESPN. Discussions are ongoing," Wojnarowski bombed.

Simmons was losing 360K for every pre-season game he sat out.  Money he was unlikely to ever recover if he continued to stay away.

Philly was working on trading the Australian but hadn't got an offer to their liking and still have him under contract for four years.

If the latest report is true, it looks like Simmons and Paul have badly overplayed their hand.

Now we'll see how the hometown crowd reacts to Simmons when he does his walk of shame back to Philly.
