J. Cole's new album The Off-Season has arrived, and in one song called “Let Go My Hand” he raps about getting into it with Diddy at a party in New York City after the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

There's been a rumor floating around since then that Cole fought with the Bad Boy founder after he allegedly tried to pour a drink on Kendrick Lamar and Cole stopped him.

It's said that Diddy was mad at K Dot for saying he was the King of New York on Big Sean's song"Control."

“I kept a tough demeanor on the surface but was mostly just pretending / And luckily my bluff was working way more often than not / But sometimes a n*gga pulled my card, tryna expose me for a fraud / And with my reputation at stake, I was scufflin’ just to save face / Couple wins, couple losses / Some broken up too quick to call it / My last scrap was with Puff Daddy, who would’ve thought it? / I bought that n*gga album in seventh grade and played it so much / You would’ve thought my favorite rapper was Puff / Back then I ain’t know sh*t, now I know too much," spit Cole.

What do you think about Cole's admission, and how are you feeling The Off-Season so far?
