J Cole had all of the attention on Monday, January 21, when he suddenly changed his profile picture on Instagram and Twitter. It seems like a minor action, but, the last time he did that he dropped his KOD album the same week.

That same day, just moments later, Cole had also posted and deleted (then posted and deleted again) some cryptic pictures saying, in full, "I'm counting my bullets, I'm loading my clips, I'm writing down names, I'm making a list".

Once he had the world's full attention, the artwork for this new single, "Middle Child" was revealed:
