When Megan Thee Stallion was beefing with her label boss Carl Crawford last year, J. Prince stepped in and implied that Jay-Z and his company Roc Nation were trying to steal her away. 

Megan claimed that her contract with 1501 Certified Entertainment was terrible, and when she tried to renegotiate with them, Crawford began holding back her music. But now Prince said that he and Jay are close to working out a deal for Megan.

"Me and the homie Jay-Z spoke last week on the last point of closing that deal,"said Prince. "He and I, I think we was on the phone for two minutes, but we was in agreement with reaching the last deal points. I'm looking for that to be wrapped up ... Everything will be smooth. She's still with 1501, you know, slash 300 and Roc Nation is managing her."

From here, we'll have to see if things will really go smoothly between Megan and 1501 as Prince said.
