When 50 Cent made fun of Irv Gotti's death a couple of months ago, Irv's partner in crime Ja Rule stayed quiet.

But the Murder Inc. rapper broke his silence during a new interview on The Breakfast Club and said he was ready to go off on 50.

"I see some of the things that [50] gets involved in, feuds. 'Grow up, my n*gga.' That’s what I be thinking to myself. It’s goofy sh*t, 'cause I was hot. I was ready to go nuclear and sh*t," said Ja. "I don’t want to start or make trouble with people, but if we gotta get into it I’ll f*ckin' end it."

He continued. "That’s who we are as men. Here to protect our family, protect our home, defend our honor, our names, our reputation. I’m not here to be a bully and bother people. That’s not what I’m here to do but I am a master of self-defense."

It's been said that Irv and Ja's close friend, former drug lord Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff, is the one who recruited someone to kill 50 in 2000 when the rapper was shot nine times.

So, that might explain 50's longtime beef with Irv and why he mocked his death.
