Takeoff was murdered over a week ago.

But the police have yet to name a suspect in the shooting, which was witnessed by dozens.

This is perhaps in part to the no-snitching ethos that permeates certain social circles.

Ja Rule discussed the lack of progress on the investigation into Takeoff's death during a stop on Fox Soul’s Cocktails with Queens

During the chat, he broke down the rules of snitching.

“Let me break down what snitchin’ really is and how that works,” he said. “You talkin’ about people in our communities that are civilians. You can’t be a snitch if you not a part of the criminal organization or you’re not a part of the crime. Snitching, that label goes for people that are a part of the actual crime or the criminal organization. Which, none of that falls on civilians.”

Do you agree, or did Dave Chappelle ruin all of Ja Rule's opinions for you?
