Jack Harlow's 'What's Poppin' remix included Lil Wayne, Tory Lanez and DaBaby.
Between the recording and release of the song, Tory and DaBaby were both "canceled."
DaBaby for saying mean things about gay people, and Tory for (allegedly) firing his gun at Megan The Stallion and making her dance.
In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Harlow was asked why he kept Lanez and DaBaby on the remix.
According to Harlow, it wasn't necessary to drop them since they recorded their verses before they went rogue.
"I know I'm a good person," he told Rolling Stone. "My character, my integrity are very important to me. And I think I've done such a good job that now I'm being forced to answer for other people's actions."
"It doesn't feel right as a grown man to speak for other grown men all the time," he continued. "One thing's for sure, is that Megan got shot. And I wish her nothing but love and respect."
Is that the right attitude about such things?
