Kodak Black and his childhood friend Jackboy have been beefing for a minute.
So far, Yak has given multiple theories as to what started the rift, including that Jackboy —who inked a deal to his Sniper Gang label — owes him $1 million.
Jackboy spoke about the falling out with DJ Akademiks and accused Kodak of coming up with false theories to explain the beef.
“The issue is the Internet … You’re an entertainer, fan pages, you’re doing shows … you probably read comments and now you’re letting people guide you or outsiders make up your mind," said Jackboy. "You might drop a song then come apologize to me in my DM. Like, what type of sh*t that is? That ain’t 100 so I just fall back from the whole situation. I’m just going to get my money on my own little type timing.”
Jackboy — who seems to be the subject of Yak's song "Super Gremlin" — also denied owning him $1 million.
“That’s where part of the hatin’ sh*t [comes from]," Jackboy explained. "He trying to make it seem like it’s always some new sh*t, it’s the beef, it’s the money, it’s h*es, it’s always some new sh*t. You just finding some sh*t that you can make fans stick with.”
Do you think these two will ever settle their issues?
