Jadakiss' new album Ignatius was supposed to drop on February 28th but was pushed back because of Pop Smoke's death, but eventually dropped on March 6th. 

Since then, Jada has been on a press run for the album and stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about it.

During the interview, it came up that he battled Mase very early on in both of their careers. 

According to Jada, people were trying to find rappers to battle himself and The Lox, and he remembers when Mase showed up in Nike open-toe sandals, slim fit, and rocking huge baggy jean shorts. 

At first, Jada thought Mase was a push-over but said he was spitting. 

Of course, Jada says he came out victorious.
