JAY-Z Addresses His '4:44' Shots At Kanye West

JAY-Z made it clear on his album 4:44 that he has unresolved issues with his former Throne mate Kanye West.

“You walking around like you invincible / You dropped outta school, you lost your principles / I know people back-stab you, I felt bad too / But this fuck everybody attitude ain’t natural / But you ain’t a saint, this ain’t kumbaye / But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye / You gave him $20 million without blinking / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck was he thinking?” Jay spits on the track 'Kill JAY-Z’.

In a new interview with Rap Radar, Jay confirmed that the source of his anger with Kanye was his notorious November 19th rant in Sacramento, in which ‘Ye bizarrely called out Jay, Beyonce, and their “killers”. (And was sent to a mental facility soon after.)

“What really hurt me was, you can’t bring my wife and my kids into it,” Jay said. “Like, Kanye is my little brother. He’s talked about me a hundred times, he even made a song called ‘Big Brother.’ We’ve gotten past bigger issues. But you brought my family into it, now it’s a problem. You know it’s a problem because me and him would have been talked about it, been resolved our issues. And he knows crossed the line, he knows. And I know he knows. Cause we’ve never let this much space go between one of our disagreements and we’ve had many. That’s just who we are. He’s an honest person and he’s wrong a lot of times. But, the point is — I was getting to a point where, ‘You got hurt by that.’ You can’t get diss somebody by saying you got hurt. That’s the softest diss of all-time. What are you talking about, you sucka ass nigga? You soft as shit! It’s not about a Kanye diss, I’m talking about me. When I say, “you dropped out of school, you lost your principals,” I’m not talking about Kanye, I’m talking about me. The whole thing.”

Word is Kanye plans to respond to Hov's 4:44 disses on his new project -- which may be a joint album with Kid Cudi.
