Over the weekend, LL Cool J had a message for rappers who rest on their laurels.
“Let me shout it out to all you rappers trying to play mystery man: stop f*cking up your legacy,” he said during his F.O.R.C.E Tour in Houston. “Get on this goddamn stage, man.”
Everyone assumed he was talking about JAY-Z, who generally makes himself scarce.
Shortly after LL's rant, JAY-Z rejoined Instagram, which he had ditched eight years ago.

He did so to promote the trailer for the Biblical epic The Book of Clarence, which he is executive producing.
So maybe it had nothing to do with LL.
But The Book Of Clarence doesn't even drop until 2024, so you never know.
