JAY-Z bought TIDAL in 2015 for $56 million.
While its combination of higher streaming quality and higher payouts to artists hasn't been much of a hit with the public, it may still be making Hov money. In 2017, Sprint paid $200 million for a 33 percent stake in the streaming service.
Now Jay is in talks with Jack Dorsey about selling the Twitter boss TIDAL. Dorsey would be interested in pairing TIDAL with his other company, the financial payments service Square.
Jay and Dorsey have been friends for years, and there is no indication that they are certain to reach a deal.
Nor do we have an idea about how much Dorsey would be willing to pay Hov for TIDAL.
