Protests for George Floyd have broken out all across the United States.

J. Cole joined one of the marches in his hometown of North Carolina, which upset Wale. J.R. Smith's car got damaged in an L.A. march, and he beat someone up because of it.

Floyd died last week after former Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for nine minutes.

Jay-Z wasn't seen at the protests. But he spoke with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz about Floyd and applauded him for calling in black Attorney General Keith Ellison to take over the case.

Chavin was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter, while three other officers involved haven't been arrested.

“After our very earnest conversation, thank you to Governor Walz for doing what’s right and calling in Attorney General Keith Ellison to take over the George Floyd case,” said Jay in a press release. “Earlier today, Governor Walz mentioned having a human conversation with me, a dad and a black man in pain. Yes, I am human, a father and a black man in pain and I am not the only one."

“Now I, along with an entire country in pain, call upon AG Ellison to do the right thing and prosecute all those responsible for the murder of George Floyd to the fullest extent of the law," the statement continued. "This is just a first step. I am more determined to fight for justice than any fight my would-be oppressors may have."

Do you think Ellison will charge the other three officers?
