Jheno Aiko Addresses Claims She Dissed Big Sean On "Triggered "

Jheno Aiko's new track "Triggered Freestyle" contains lyrics like “You muh f***in right I’m bitter,” “You need to stay out of my way, I’m triggered when I see your face” and “Knew from the beginning you’d ruin everything, you do it every time, you are no friend of mine.”

That certainly sounds like a diss of her ex Big Sean, who split with her last December after a few years of dating.

According to Jhene, it isn't. She explained on Twitter:

"triggered" was a moment. a moment that for me has passed. it is new to you because ur just now hearing it, but for me... it's something i moved on from the moment i expressed it.

triggered is NOT a diss song. it is a moment of talking shit out of frustration and passion. it's was a moment of exaggerated expression when I was feeling lost and weak. no one is to be blamed or bashed for how I was feeling in that moment. I am in control of my feelings.
