Jim Jones became a player in the Tekashi 6ix9ine drama when 6ix9ine told the court that Jones was Tr3way and then prosecutors played a tape on which Jones discussed violating 6ix9ine with Nine Trey boss and former Byrd Game rapper Mel Murda.

In the aftermath of that info, 50 Cent and others suggested Jones had avoided the charges all the other Nine Treys were brought up on by talking to the government.

Angie Martinez asked Jones about getting the informant label slapped on him during a new interview.

"You never know that you're in the circus until you figure out you was looking at a clown," Jones said, echoing Ja Rule on Fif. "When the clown gives out information, everybody laughs. But for the most part, everyone knows I'm a substantial individual. I've been doing this for a very long time.
