Jim Jones confirmed that Tekashi 6ix9ine is the king of New York.

"I guess, man. It's a different era of music. It's the Gram era, it's the Internet era," said Jim.  "The kings I went up against was really in the street when we were doing this. Like, we really had to live it. We didn't have no phones to take pictures. It was really action out there. And I went up against a lot of kings of New York. I guess you state your claim when you come to New York.  I think it comes from all the hits he's done this year ... And he takes the standpoint of being the king as most successful artist that's in New York right now. That's righteous to say."

Jim's interview comes at a time when he's in the throes of a back-and-forth with 50 Cent.

Fif recently dissed Jim's appearance when he recorded a video from Miami, just before Hurricane Michael hit. Then Jim responded by suggesting that 50 had something going on sexually with Power's Omari Hardwick.

Would you call Tekashi 6ix9ine the king of New York?
