Joey Bada$$ Says The Government Is Tapping His Phone Over Malia Obama Pic

Joey Bada$$'s debut LP B4.DA.$$ is projected to have a strong opening week. We can't help but think this has a little bit to do with all the publicity Joey received when he posted on Instagram a photo of Malia Obama wearing one of his signature Pro Era T-shirts.

In the wake of the high profile co-sign there were reports that the Secret Service was investigating how an image of the First Daughter -- who is supposed to stay off of social media -- ended up on Pro Era's IG.

Bada$$ has apparently taken those reports to heart. In an interview with Sway, Joey said he thinks the government is now keeping close tabs on him.

My phone is tapped at the moment, yeah. When you have the leader of the free world's daughter wearing your shirts and all of that, I guess they start to investigate. They got my whole crib surrounded. I mean, I believe it. I don't sleep. I hear the clicks on my phone."
