Joyner Lucas has had issues with Logic since 2016 when he felt like the DMV rapper dropped a disrespectfully mediocre verse on Tech N9ne's track 'Sriracha' because Joyner was the other feature.
Lucas continued his year-plus baiting of Logic on his "Look Alive" remix.
"44 shots traumatize in front of 45 hit 44 more/Carbon copies say you kamikazes/That's for everybody," he raps.
In those bars, Lucas references Logic's latest track "44 More" and his latest album Everybody.
In addition to the "Sriracha" incident, Lucas has criticized Logic for overemphasizing his bi-racial identity in his bars.
“I think [Logic] can rap. But I feel like he tries to prove that he’s black too much for me,” he said on Everyday Struggle late last year. “It just seems like all his bars are just like, every other bar, every other song is ‘I’m black. Oh, I’m half-black and half-white.’ That’s cool, that’s who you are, it’s just too repetitive for me.
So far this is a one-sided beef, as Logic hasn't overtly responded to Lucas.
Do you think he needs to?
