JT  sat down with Angie Martinez for a wide-ranging interview and spoke about the future of City Girls.

The rapper expressed concern during the chat, saying that she hopes egos, men, and other things don't make her and group member Yung Miami break up. [Jump to the 1:05:01 mark]

“Hopefully, the future of the City Girls can be the City Girls,” said JT. “And I pray that our egos does not separate it. Or the internet, or guys, or like, nothing. Sometimes I be on my sh*t, sometimes she be on her sh*t. You know? Like, we’re human, we’re women. We’re not girls, we’re women. Sometimes I wanna be with my man, just like sometimes she wanna be with her man. And I hope that’s not what be the reason or interfere ... I do not see beefing and breaking up the City Girls at all ... I hope we don’t get too busy.”

Do you think the City Girls will be around for a long time to come? It may be hard to call since Yung Miami said she was retiring not too long ago.
