When we last check in on the 'Big Pimpin'' copyright case against Jay Z and Timbaland, the two Hip Hop heavyweights were leaving court and looking not the least bit worried.

There's a reason for that.

This morning, U.S. District Judge Christina Snyder ruled that the nephew of  Egyptian composer Baligh Hamdi Egyptian didn't have the right to pursue his copyright infringement claim and that the case should be tossed out.

Ahmen Fahmy had sued Jay Z, Timbaland and their record companies for swiping 'Big Pimpin''s exotic sample from his uncle's 1957 track 'Khosara, Khosara.'

The case took almost a decade to get to trial, but ended abruptly after only a week. The judge said she based her decision to dismiss on Egyptian copyright law.

Fahmy's lawyer called the decision "completely wrong" and vowed to appeal.
