Remember when Juelz Santana tried to bring his pistol and some oxycodone on an airplane and then fled the TSA in a taxicab when they discovered the contraband?
That's going to cost him at least a couple of years away.
Santana has finalized his plea deal with the Feds for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft. He will be locked up between 27 to 37 months. If he had gone to trial, he faced 47 to 57 months.
He explained why he took the deal during a discussion with Maino on Love & Hip Hop
"If I go to trial, and I blow I could be going like five years. I'm like damn, my daughter will be like 11 years old. My son will be 12 years old," Santana said.
Santana maintains that he is innocent.
