While Kanye West was spending his weekend declaring a run at the Presidency in 2020, Evian Christ, who's most famous for collaborating on the 'Ye track 'I'm In It', was spending it locked in a cage.
The DJ had performed a set at the Leeds festival in England. However, when he returned to the VIP area security didn't believe that he was who he said he was, so they locked him a cage. Since they didn't take his phone, Christ recorded his imprisonment and tweeted it out to his followers.

The Reading leg of the festival was to take place the following day, and apparently his imprisonment caused him to miss it.
Reading and Leeds festival organizer Melvin Benn explained the decision to lock up one of his performers:
Evian was found in a not very good state in the woods, without being able or willing to disclose who he was. He was effectively held till we knew who he was. He certainly wasn't prevented from performing under any circumstances. It was his decision not to perform, not the festival's.Do you think this trend of "caging" performers who have fallen into a bad state will catch on? If so, who would you like to see locked up?
