Justin Laboy's full interview with Kanye West was released last night, and in one part Ye talked about the Kendrick Lamar, Drake battle.
Laboy asked Ye about Kendrick's "F*ck the big three, it’s just big me" line on Future and Metro Boomin’s "Like That," and the GOOD Music boss seemed bothered by those words. [Jump to the 22:31 mark]
"How would we let that idea pass?"asked Ye, who already said that Dot killed off Drake. "You know, I’m the greatest that ever existed and other people, you know, they shouldn’t feel that way cause I’m here ... Every man, you know, is going to feel that they’re the number one in the game. But there’s different techniques. Like, if you rap against Kendrick you will lose. This man does this."
Ye then said he's the only person talented and smart enough to defeat Kendrick in a rap battle.
"If you rap against Kendrick Lamar, it’s really a difficult task," Ye warned. "But I’m a psycho genius, so [don't rap against Kendrick] unless you're a psycho genius like me."
Is Ye right? Is he the only person who can take Kendrick down?
