Kanye West Hospitalized For Psychiatric Evaluation

Kayne West's mental health issues just got real.

Multiple reports say Kanye was taken by ambulance to UCLA Medical Center this afternoon for a psychiatric evaluation.

'Ye didn't want to be taken in, and had to restrained by the police who had been called for a welfare check.

Sources tell NBC news that no criminal activity was involved, and West was hospitalized for his own health and safety.

TMZ reports that West was being checked out by his doctor for sleep deprivation when the decision was made to admit him.

West has been in the news lately for ranting about Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Jay Z, Beyonce, Drake and others during shows in San Jose and Sacramento. Earlier today, 'Ye cancelled the remaining 21 US dates of his Saint Pablo tour, citing exhaustion.
