Kanye West Nixed Deal To Make Him Highest Paid Performer in Las Vegas

Kanye West is many things, but a lounge singer ain't one of them.

The Kardashian clam member has turned down a deal from Axis Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas that would have paid him $4.5 million to play nine shows over three weeks. That's a cool half a mil a show.

If he had accepted the offer, West would have been the highest paid performer on the Vegas strip, besting Celine Dion ($476,000 a show) and Britney Spears ($475,000.) Jennifer Lopez is said to be on the verge of signing an offer with Planet Hollywood that would net her $350,000 a show.

Last week, Kim Kardashian received a $500,000 appearance fee just  to show up at her birthday party at Tao on the Vegas strip.

So perhaps West was feeling slighted that Sin City was willing to pay his wife the same amount of money they were offering him for doing a lot less work. We get the feeling Yeezus spends a good chunk of his life feeling slighted.
