Last year, Kendrick Lamar launched the mysterious media company pgLang.
We are starting to get some hints as to what it may be doing.
Deadline reports that Kendrick and his manager and pgLang cofounder Dave Free are teaming up with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone to produce a live-action comedy movie for Paramount Pictures.
The premise of the movie is ... interesting.
"The film penned by Vernon Chatman will see the past and present come to a head when a young Black man who is interning as a slave reenactor at a living history museum discovers that his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned his."
The film doesn't have a director yet but is set to begin production in the spring.
Does that sound interesting?
