Kendrick Lamar has been on the low for quite some time, only being seen by much of the public when he protested George Floyd's death in June.

Some online were critical of K Dot for not being more vocal on social media about Floyd and protests. So much so, that TDE president Punch said the gifted lyricist may not return to music because of the senseless ridicule.

But now there's some hope that new Kendrick tunes are on the way, because he was spotted Tuesday in downtown Los Angeles shooting what looks to be a music video.

There's no confirmation that was the case, but the photo is the biggest sign yet that Kendrick may be dropping something new.

His last album was 2017's critically acclaimed DAMN.
