Kendrick Lamar Snags Huge Billboard Honor

After defeating Drake in rap beef, Kendrick Lamar has become the world's greatest pop star.

At least, that's what Billboard has concluded.

The music industry bible has declared Kendrick The Greatest Pop Star of 2024, topping the likes of Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter.  (Who each sold a lot more music than him over the year.  But it's the "greatest," not the "biggest.")

Kendrick becomes the sixth rapper to snag the annual crown, following Diddy (97), Eminem (02), Kanye (05), Lil Wayne (08) and Drake (18).
